Terry Lynn Cook is a long-time resident Métis of Northern Alberta. She has been an advocate of FNMI Education from her own educational experiences as well as from teaching with the Driftpile First Nations, working as a Lead Administrator of an Outreach School in Slave Lake and completing her Master of Education program with a focus on Indigenous Education. Terry Lynn served as a FNMI consultant of the Alberta Regional PD Consortium’s FNMI PD team .Terry Lynn is very passionate about promoting High School completion amongst FNMI youth and using FNMI youth’s voices in gaining an understanding of FNMI educational issues. She is formerly a Walking Together Consultant: Education for Reconciliation for the Alberta teacher’s Association. She is employed as a Pedagogical Supervisor of Indigenous Education and Curriculum for Northland School Division. She is also an Indigenous Education PD Facilitator for the ATA.
