This session is an introduction to the 6-hour certification workshop offered by Canadian Wildlife Federation. It focuses on environmental and conservation education and includes cross curricular lesson plans for all grades. Project Wild and Below Zero are two excellent teacher lesson resources that can be utilized to teach using land-based education. This workshop is active, involving participant interaction and can include both indoor and outdoor activities. Participants will leave with sample copies of activities.

I am an Executive for the ATA Specialist Council - Global, Environmental and Outdoor Education Council (GEOEC). I would like to present our workshop using two sources that we highly recommend that come from a full day certification workshop from the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
