Integrating Curriculum while Engaging Students with Voice and Choice!

This session will focus on the interesting connections you can make between course curriculum and brainstorm the possibilities of collaborating with other teachers to create powerful learning environments. I will present and show a couple sample projects I have created in the past and talk about how I integrate the curriculum to create a well rounded learning experience for all in a very purposeful manner. The interesting thing about this session is how the project is planned around outcomes from more than one course but uses student voice and choice to help engage the learner. I have seen observed interesting changes in my students implementing these projects over the years and I am looking forward to sharing my observations with others who are interested in this teaching style.
