Learn the heart-based meditation technique, the science behind it and ways to implement it in your classroom as well as your daily life.Meditation is possibly the most difficult skill to learn and even harder to teach. Thanks to intensive, ongoing studies of the heart and the way it communicates with the brain, heart-based meditation is one of the easiest to learn and most rewarding forms of meditation. Used by police officers, soldiers returning home, trauma victims, executives and more, heart-based meditation can help reduce stress and anxiety by over 50% with in three minutes. In this session you will learn the technique, the science behind it, ways you can easily implement it in your classroom and even see some technology you can use to fine tune those skills. With the growing numbers of child anxiety, stress and depression, the skill of meditation is more important than ever. The number of children with anxiety issues, depression and stress are higher than ever and with classroom sizes increasing it can be very difficult to help children (and yourself) cope with these issues. Heart-based meditation is easy to learn, easy to teach and proven effective in classroom settings. You can use this meditation to not only help reduce stress with your children, but with yourself as well. With an entire institute devoted to developing the meditation, technology to aid in the learning process and an online support community, this meditation is a perfect addition to the classroom.
