Kathy’s popular workshop uses a storyboard "book" format encouraging children to tell/draw/write their stories in a fun, creative way. During this interactive session, she'll share valuable tips and strategies for improving students' creative writing skills. Kathy leads teachers through her writing project in a clear, step by step process. She gives numerous examples along the way, and guidance on how the project can be adapted to accommodate the needs of students at all levels of writing ability. Teachers will come away with practical ideas they can put to immediate use in the classroom. In past years, this session has been highly rated by delegates at numerous Alberta Teachers' conventions. For: Grades K-3, ESL, and older students with low writing ability.
