TGIF! - Our Favorite Upper Elementary Math Games

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Tarynne will present her favorite upper elementary math games that help teach the following math concepts: review of fact fluency, place value including decimals, fractions and more. During the session you will play many games, learn how to differentiate them to meet the wide range of students in your program, how to integrate them into math centers, develop math journals, use games for assessment and for developing math talks. Student samples will be shared throughout to highlight the deep understanding students can attain while playing the games. Cards, dice and math shakers will be used, and gameboards will be provided. Come prepared to play! Ideas can also be used in family math nights, and activities will be excellent for special ed/resource room teachers in Junior High settings.
