This session will include a lecture portion to discover outcomes of current research related to meditation and mindfulness. Participants will learn the potential benefits and applications of these practices both at school/work and personally for home. The majority of the session will be practical experience. The speaker will guide participants through several types and styles of meditation, breathwork and mindfulness. Participants will be equipped to implement these practices into everyday life at work/school, or home, immediately upon completion of the session. The aim of this session is to broaden knowledge related to the practices of meditation and mindfulness in a way that inspires participants to use the tools learned in the session, and perhaps begin their own journey of learning more about these valuable practices.
