Jumpstart K-6 students’ collaborative storytelling...with robots! Today’s easy-to-code Ozobot, Bee-Bot, Cubetto and Sphero Mini can inspire even our youngest students to take charge of weaving a story. Whether coding with markers, buttons, jigsaw pieces, or actual drag-and-drop coding blocks on a Chromebook, your students can easily be inspired to meet ELA (as well as Social Studies and Math) outcomes through their creation of innovative and highly entertaining stories...with robots. In this session we’ll explore stories and strategies that help you help your students code robots to represent their learning through story-telling challenges. If you’re curious about how these popular character-like tools can ignite your students’ creativity, and would like some hands-on exploration before deciding to buy some for your school, come join us!
